Do you want to meet with Jesus this Easter?
이번 부활절에 예수님을 만나길 원하십니까?

If you think you are a Christian who really loves Jesus,
당신이 진정 예수님을 사랑하는 그리스도인이라고 생각한다면,

One thing is clear, if you stick with the truth, you will eventually overcome those who do not believe. Otherwise, you will lose to those same people very easily. When Jesus was arrested and questioned, he did not change what he had said to the people of Israel. He stuck with the truth and was later resurrected among the dead.

한가지는 명백합니다. 만약 당신이 진실과 동떨어져 있지 않다면, 당신은 마침내 불신하는 자들을 이길 것입니다. 그렇지 않으면 당신은 아주 쉽게 그 동일한 사람들에게 지고 말 것입니다. 예수께서 체포당하시고 질문을 받았을 때, 그는 이스라엘사람들에게 해주었던 말을 바꾸지 않았습니다. 그는 진실을 고수했고 나중에 죽음에서 부활하셨습니다.

Without Jesus' death, there would not have been Jesus' resurrection. Most Christians, including many pastors, have put more emphasis on the resurrection of Jesus. As a result, we are interested in the glory of resurrection only, without paying attention to the suffering and death of Jesus. This shows that people are only interested in the final results, ignoring the process.

예수님의 죽음이 없었다면 부활도 없었을 것입니다. 많은 목사님들을 포함한 대부분의 크리스챤들은 예수님의 부활에 더 강조점을 두고 있습니다. 결과적으로 우리는 예수님의 고난과 죽음에 관심을 두기보다는 단지 부활의 영광에만 흥미를 가지고 있습니다. 이것은 사람들이 과정은 무시한 채 오직 최종적인 결과에만 흥미를 느끼고 있음을 보여줍니다.

Now, during this critical time of Korea, it would be extremely important for Korean Christians to walk with Jesus’cross and to experience His pains and sufferings.

Have you watched the movie, “The Passion of the Christ”? What did you see from Jesus’sufferings, including the Crucifixion? Did you see only his painful face, and his body covered all over with blood, scars, and wounds?

한국에서의 이렇듯 위태위태한 시기에, 한국의 크리스챤들이 예수의 십자가를 지고 걸으며 그분의 고통과 고난을 경험한다는 것은 절대로 중요한 일일 것입니다.

당신은 " 그리스도의 고난 "이라는 영화를 본적이 있습니까? 십자가에 못박힘을 포함한 예수의 고난으로부터 무엇을 보았습니까? 당신은 단지 그분의 고통스런 얼굴 그리고 그분의 선혈이 낭자한 육체, 상처들만 보았습니까?

The Passion of the Christ is translated as the sufferings of Jesus, but the word "passion" originally means enthusiasm, ardent feeling, and fervor. We should be able to see His ardent enthusiasm (passion) about saving people from their sins, when He was flogged, forced to carry His own cross, and was crucified.

" The Passion of the Christ " 는 passion 이라는 단어가 원래는 열광, 불타는 감정, 열정을 의미하지만 " 예수님의 고난 "으로 번역됩니다. 그분이 채찍질 당하고 자신의 십자가를 질 것을 강요당하고 그리고 십자가에 못 박혔을 때 우리는 그분의 불타는 열정을 볼 수 있어야 합니다.

In that same way we should follow His passion (enthusiasm) and ardent love for people. To do that, we all should repent first and turn our sinful way to our savior, Jesus, who is the way, the truth, and the life. Then let us act with justice towards everyone in our life, love mercy since God has dealt mercifully with us, and walk humbly with our God.

동일한 방법으로 우리들은 사람들을 위한 그분의 열정과 불타는 사랑을 본받아야 합니다. 그렇게 하기 위하여서 우리 모두는 먼저 회개하고, 길이요 진리요 생명이신 우리구주 예수님께로 우리의 죄악된 길을 돌이켜야 합니다. 그런 다음 우리 삶에 있어 모든 사람을 향하여 정의롭게 행하고 하나님께서 우리에게 자비를 베푸신 연고로 인하여 사람을 사랑합시다. 그리고 하나님과 함께 겸손한 길을 걸읍시다.

To ask God to protect Korea, all Christians should follow Jesus’ way and see His ultimate glory on Easter. That might be the only way to turn our homeland away from Satan.

하나님께서 한국을 지키주실 것을 간구하기 위하여, 모든 크리스챤들은 예수님의 길을 따라가서 그의 마지막 부활의 영광을 보아야 합니다. 그것이야말로 사탄으로부터 우리 고국을 구하는 유일한 방법입니다.

As I watched this movie, and especially when Jesus was beaten, flogged, and nailed on the cross, I thought about my fellow N. Koreans who have been suffering from all kinds of similar tortures, assaults, and hunger. I could not hide my tears and could not help but pray for my poor N. Koreans.

내가 이 영화를 봄으로써, 특히 예수께서 매를 맞고 채찍질 당하고 그리고 십자가위에 못 박혔을 때, 나는 온갖 종류의 고문 폭행 그리고 굶주림으로 고난 당하여온 북한 동포들을 생각했습니다. 나는 눈물을 감출 수 없었고 나의 곤고한 북한동포들을 위하여 기도하지 않을 수 없었습니다.

My dear Christians! Let us follow our Savior Jesus, who is carrying our cross instead of us, all the way up to Calvary, His tomb, and His resurrection this Easter. Let us pray for our fellow N. Koreans who desperately need the good news of His resurrection.

May God protect, help, and guide my homeland Korea.

친애하는 크리스찬 여러분! 이번 부활절날 우리대신 우리의 십자가를 지고 계신 구주예수님을 갈보리산위, 그의 무덤, 그리고 그의 부활에 이르기까지 뒤따릅시다. 그 분의 부활의 좋은 소식이 필요한 우리 북한동포들을 위하여 기도합시다.

하나님께서 나의 조국 대한민국을 보호하시고 도우시고 인도하여 주시길 기원합니다.
