These are definitions of 'law'.
법의 정의는 다음과 같습니다.

1.binding or enforceable rule: a rule of conduct or procedure recognized by a community as binding or enforceable by authority
1. 구속력 있는 혹은 강제할 수 있는 규칙 : 구속력을 가지거나 강제할 수 있는 권력을 가진 공동체에 의하여 공인된, 행동 또는 절차의 규칙

2.piece of legislation: an act passed by a legislature or similar body
법률제정의 실례 : 입법부나 유사한 조직에 의하여 통과된 법령

3.legal system: the body or system of rules recognized by a community that are enforceable by established process ? You are forbidden by law to enter the premises.
3. 법체계 : 규칙의 몸통 혹은 체계는 확립된 절차에 의해 강제할 수 있는 공동체에 의하여 공인되었다. 당신이 가게에 들어가는 것은 법률에 의하여 거부된다.

4.control or authority: the control or authority resulting from the observance and enforcement of a community’s system of rules
지배 혹은 권력 : 공동체조직의 규칙을 준수하거나 집행함으로써 생기는 지배나 권력

Forget about all other trash-talks. As you see, the law (법) is a rule of conduct or procedure that all of us are supposed to follow. In America, nothing is above the law regardless of your social and economic status.

온갖 다른 잡다한 얘기들일랑 잊어버리십시오. 당신이 본 것 처럼 법이란 우리 모두가 따르기로 되어있는 행동과 절차의 규칙입니다. 미국에서는 당신의 사회적인 그리고 경제적인 지위를 막론하고 법을 초월하여 존재할 수 없습니다.

I have watched so many cases and experienced such cases.
When I came to America, it was very strange to me that a traffic policeman arrested a high FBI official and an Army general for the violation of the traffic rules in the state.

나는 많은 그러한 경우를 보아왔고 그런 경우를 겪었습니다. 내가 미국에 왔을 때, 그 나라에서는 교통경찰관이 연방수사국 고위 공무원과 군장성을 교통법규위반으로 체포하는 것이 아주 이상했습니다.

Several state congressmen were arrested only for accepting $50.00 cash (around 50,000 won). At that time, I could not understand how this kind of thing could happen in this country. Now I fully understand and realize that in this society nobody is really above the law.
몇몇 국회의원들은 단지 50달러 (한화 약 50,000원 )을 받은 것 때문에 체포되었습니다. 그 당시 나는, 이 나라에서는 어떻게 이런 종류의 일들이 일어날 수 있는지 이해할 수가 없었습니다. 이제 나는, 이 나라에서는 정말 그 누구도 법을 초월하여 존재할 수 없다는 것을 충분히 이해하고 깨닫습니다.

The most dreadful statement you could hear in America is "that is against the law." If you resist or ignore this statement, you should hire one of the best lawyers unless you want to spend some long time in jail. If you don't know the law very well, you had better show your sincere attitude trying to pay your attetion to the law enforcers.

미국에서 당신이 들을 수 있는 가장 끔찍한 말은 " 그것은 법률 위반이다. "라는 말입니다. 만일 당신이 이 말에 반발하거나 무시한다면, 당신이 감옥에서 오랜시간을 보내길 원치 않는한 당신은 최고의 변호사를 고용해야만 합니다. 만약 당신이 법을 정말 잘 모른다면 당신은 당신의 솔직한 태도를 보여서 법집행자에게 잘 보이는 게 낫습니다.

In the court, do not say, "I don't know that is against the law," if at all possible. You had better say, " I, really and fully, regret to violate such a law, but the reality is ..."

법정에서 " 나는 법률을 위반한 사실을 알지못했다 " 라고 할 것이 아니라, 가능하다면 " 나는 그러한 법률을 어긴 것을 정말 그리고 충분히 반성한다. 그러나 사실은 .... 이다." 라고 말하는 편이 더 유리합니다.

Now, it becomes strange to me and very painful me to see what is happening in Korea right now. If President Rho delievered such a silly and undemocratic statement in America, it would quite obvious for him to be kicked out of his position by the impeachment. It would be out of the question for him to be elected as President in America if people knew he really delivered the unthinkable statement.

나는 지금 한국에서 일어나는 것을 보기가 나에게는 낯설고 너무나 괴롭습니다. 만일 노대통령이 미국에서 그런 어리석고 비민주적인 발언을 했다면 그는 탄핵을 당하여 그의 자리에서 쫒겨날 것이 분명합니다. 미국에서 만일 그가 정말 그런 생각없는 발언을 했다는 것을 사람들이 알게 되었다면 그가 대통령으로 뽑힌다는 것은 불가능한 일입니다.

Ladies and gentlemen in Korea, if he really said such an undemocratic statement, he should deserve to be impeached if he does not regret his statement. If he comes back as President of Korea, .............. (tell whatever you want to say.)

I hope that is not true and he did not say such a thing.
